Pastor, I'm on a modest budget, what would you recommend?
Much of what we know about deliverance in the twentieth and twenty-first century can be traced back to the ministry of these three pioneers. If you only had $50 to spend I would recommend purchasing Pastor Win Worley's four essential booklets, and these three books.
Battling the Hosts of Hell - Diary of an Exorcist was the first book written by Pastor Win Worley. The first part of the book is his journal that recorded the wonders and powerful deliverance sessions witnessed by the ministers and workers at Hegewisch Baptist Church. The last part of the book, Pastor Win teaches what he learned through hands on ministry in deliverance and by revelation of the Holy Spirit.
Blessing or Curse - You can choose is one of the great books by Derek Prince on deliverance. In this book he specifically addresses curses and how to deal with this legal ground the enemy uses to infiltrate our lives.
Pigs in the Parlor - is a valuable resource by Frank and Ida Mae Hammond. This book was written by one of the foremost deliverance ministers of our time. You will learn a great deal from this book.

From the Frank Hammond Booklet Series:
Whose report will you believe? God, through Isaiah, raises this question: "Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?" Isaiah 53:1. What is the full report? What is the full gospel? Isaiah 53 tells us all that Jesus appropriated for us on the Cross. It is salvation from sin unto eternal life, but it is much so much more than that!
There are many unbelieving believers who do not appropriate the full benefits of the Cross. They have selectively appropriated the basics yet bypassed all the other good fruit. The Devil's goal is to keep us in unbelief. The devil is in trouble if we believe the full report. He torments and defeats us by keeping us in unbelief so that we cannot appropriate the full benefits of the Cross.
God is going to set us free from the spirits of unbelief, deafness and dumbness. We are going to get rid of that rascal of unbelief in our lives so we can see and hear what God is saying to us in this hour. This book contains revelatory insights concerning:
* The full report of all that the cross provides
* The devil's master strategy to destroy faith
* How unbelief is robbing the Body of Christ of much of what the Cross provides
* Subtle things that affect our ability to believe
* Deliverance from the spirits of unbelief, blindness, deafness and dumbness

Why does deliverance sometimes fail?
This is, in essence, the same question raised by Jesus' first disciples. When these disciples were unable to cast out a spirit of epilepsy, they were puzzled and asked Jesus the reason for their failure. Jesus gave a multi-part answer which leads us to take into account the petitioner's faith, the deliverance minister's capability, the spiritual qualifications that must be met, the strength of the spirit confronted and the strategy of warfare employed.
Obstacles To Deliverance
In particular, there are myths, misunderstandings and misinformation concerning the ministry of deliverance. The first battleground is in the minds of men, where Satan has sown questions, doubts and fears that become hindrances to involvement in this valid, biblical ministry. Those who want an answer should be given an answer. Ignorance, prejudice and fear are hurdles that some sincere Christians must get over before they are willing to become involved in spiritual warfare. Before one can bring himself to obedience to deal with the devil and demons, certain obstacles must be overcome in one's mind.

Out of the Valley of Darkness (1992)
"Sarah," the young woman suffering from schizophrenia, whose story was related in Pigs In The Parlor, tells her own amazing story.
"Sarah" (actually Mary-Etta Hinkle) had a relatively normal life. She was loved, but somehow couldn't accept the love from her family. What were the factors, and contributing influences that caused her to become schizophrenic, and what is more important, how was she set free?
Learn for yourself as the real life "Sarah" lays her life open before you without whitewashing any of her problems.
(The following is from the PREFACE COMMENT by Frank Hammond).
... Over the years many people have inquired about "Sarah." They have asked, "How is she doing?" "Was she really delivered from schizophrenia?" "Has she kept her deliverance?"
... Tears of joy and thanksgiving flooded our eyes as we read the manuscript . . .
